Yes She Counts is an organisation that places emphasis on women, and understands the importance of financial security for women, regardless of background. Women play important roles in their family, society, and should be counted in on financial matters too. The organisation centre their work around the mission to empower each woman to harness her unique strengths and to educate her with necessary knowledge in order to manage her finances with confidence.

The brief was to create a brand identity that is elegant that speak to middle-aged women to provide financial consultations that can empower its audience.

Logo Concept

The brandmark illustrates an outline of a woman signifying the importance of women in the society. The monogram is enclosed in a circle to symbolise community, friendship, love, relationships and unity. In the intricate monogram line art, the hair of the woman is morphed into a letter “S” to symbolise “She” that also emphasise on women who empowers.

Brand Colour Palette

Pink has always had strong associations with women and inherently communicates a sense femininity. The lightly saturated pink palette adds a touch of classiness to the brand identity. Adding warm neutrals to the colour scheme balances the starkness of Blanc and Noir. This palette provides a strong sense of visual cohesion that is confident, bold and professional.

Brand Typography

A minimal and sleek san serif is paired with a serif font to evoke a sense of sophistication that projects a consistent visual identity.
